Why Rabs should win:
Rabs was rescued from TEARS but didn’t like her adoptive owners because they had a dog. So she travelled and found us one summer’s day. She climbed our loquat tree into our bedroom where my husband was lying, already very ill with Early Onset Alzheimer’s. For the next two years she provided him with much needed support. He loved smoothing her and she lay on his stomach and purred and purred.
She was with me, my husband and son through all the bad times. Delighted to see us when we got back from the frequent hospital visits. Always happy. Always relieving the stress. Without her, I wouldn’t have got through either. Cats have a marvellous empathetic effect and Rabs especially. I owe her big time. [Of course, being a cat, she knows it]
Now it’s just me and her.
She thinks she’s a pedigree [her tail is actually far too long and she easily loses her balance as a result!] and in her innermost being, she is! She’s my Meow of the year!!!!!

Voting for your favourite pet is done in the form of a donation. Each time you donate, the total amount raised in the name of that pet is calculated, and at the end of the competition, the pet that has raised the most amount of money will win in that category. So, the more that you donate, the greater the chance that pet has of winning.
